Practicing Yoga at a studio is great. I enjoy teaching my students and they get to mingle and motivate each other. Even though I’m an instructor, sometimes I just want to practice quietly from home as well.
What I get a bit obsessed with is trying to find the best Yoga teachers on the planet and learning from them. I enjoy learning new things and in turn showing those things to my students so professional online yoga classes is a great way for me to practice and get new ideas.
Yoga Download reviews are always glowing so I dug in myself to find out why.
Here are some of the basics:
- Yoga Download Offers $3 to download 1 class per week
- Unlimited streaming videos, which you play straight from the website.
- Offers a range of monthly subscription for as low as $10 a month for four downloads to $90 a year for unlimited videos.
- Offers a wide variety of yoga styles including Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Vinyasa and many more.
- Features the best and reliable yoga instructors like Becca Riopelle (Yoga with Weights), Julie Pelaez (Hot Yoga), and Hayley Hobson (Vinyasa Yoga)
Yoga Download offers video as well as audio yoga classes in a variety of styles, levels, and durations which is very useful if you are targeting a specific goal on your practice.
The website itself is very easy to navigate and use as you can quickly download files to iTunes and can be accessed directly from your laptop or mp3 player and you can even burn it to a CD so you can take your class anywhere.
They offer classes from five to ninety minutes in length which is perfect as you can insert your work outs on your busy and hectic schedule.
You can also choose from a variety of styles which include Yoga for beginners, vinyasa, hatha, Kundalini, and Forrest among many others.
What I also like about their website is that you can also download a printable pose which you can use on your audio classes, but since there is no other visual instruction, audio classes are best suited to those who already have a familiarity with the poses.
To cut the story short, I love the website!
The instructions are very easy to understand and excellent. They offer a very creative sequencing and poses that are very well explained which is a big plus for those who are just beginning.
You can also opt to take the intermediate level class where you can get a nice variety of poses, including some that are a bit off the beaten path.
When practicing at home, I enjoy the audio format, since I find videos can be distracting and hard to see but that’s just me, if you are more of a visual person I tell you their video classes are among the best I have seen so far.
You will definitely get your money’s worth as the classes are updated regularly, so you can be sure that you are getting the best classes as there will always be a good selection.
